Angel Heaven!


What are America’s beautiful Super Sleuths from the 70’s up to these days? Just ask Angelic Heaven editor Mike Pingel. He created the "Angelic Heaven" newsletter which ran from September 1995-September 1999! Then in October of 1996 Pingel launched the website edition of the fanzine on the Internet. The Angelic Heaven "Fan" Website is still on the web today! The site updates fans of the classic television series Charlie’s Angles. Angelic Heaven provides a constant up-to-date reports on the current works of the actresses - Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts.

Angelic Heaven goal is to give back to the actresses. The website which receives over 2,400 hits daily, is giving fans what they want to know. “The Website has allot to offer fans and it’s fun to read!” says Mike Pingel, “America is still in love with these Angels.”

"The baby-boomer generation grew up on television, and today we find ourselves re-living our childhood through re-runs," said editor Mike Pingel. The Angels was a hit when it started on ABC in 1976. Everyone stopped what they were doing on Wednesdays to watch Jill, Kelly, and Sabrina catch those bad guys. Angelic Heaven "FAN" webstie keeps fans around the world in touch with those heavenly Angels.

The Spanish remake of Charlie’s Angels called “Angeles”which airs every Friday and Sunday on Telemundo.

Angelic Heaven "FAN" website has been picked “Site of the Day” by Yahoo! and Web TV. Which has made Angelic Heaven the leading Charlie’s Angels site on the Internet. “I’m really happy being part of the Internet family. It allows people around the world keep in touch with Charlie’s Angels.” mentioned Pingel. The site is visited by fans from Brazil, England, Japan, Asia, to Korea. Which shows the strong world wide fan base for the classic series.

The success of Angelic Heaven has been highlighted in the pages of Los Angeles Magazine, The Net, Edge, English Express, New Zealand Weekly, to name only a few. Also editor Mike Pingel has appeared on, Good Day LA, Deco Drive, The Arthel and Fred Show, The Drum (New Zealand) also on international radio, The BBC Radio and Retro 70’s Show, (Canadian). Bio


Editor/Publisher Mike Pingel created the Angelic Heaven newsletter, based on his favorite television show Charlie's Angels, after book publishers told him that there was not a fan base to buy his Charlie’s Angels book.

Pingel has provided the publishers wrong. With producing one of the most successful Internet sites and newsletter. The newsletter that started in 1995 as a small idea has grown to over 25,000 reads each on the world wide web.

Pingel did his undergraduate work at The American University in Washington, D.C., where he realized that he was meant to be an actor. Pingel has worked on such projects as: A Few Good Men, Dream West, and America’s Most Wanted.

Pingel resides in Los Angeles, where he keeps up with the Angels' careers, pursuing a publisher for his Angel book and continues his acting career. Until all his dreams come true, Pingel will have to stick with waiting tables! Anyone for coffee?

Pingel would also like to thank Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson, Shelley Hack, Tanya Roberts, Aaron Spelling, Leonard Goldberg, for allowing him to promote their careers. And a special thanks to angel, Cheryl Ladd, for all her support. She has made Angelic Heaven all worth it for him.
